POS specialist and IT Technician Responsibilities:

We are looking for technically skilled candidates with good problem-solving ability for the position of IT Technician. The duties of an IT Technician include being a reference point for all IT related queries at the user level, responding to user needs in a timely manner, and ensuring the optimal running of all systems, among other technical duties.

IT Technicians are expected to display good interpersonal skills as they will interact with customers from various industries and executive levels. They are required to listen to their technical needs, understand their problems, and implement solutions to them.

POS specialist and IT Technician Responsibilities:

  • Act as the POS support liaison between Corporate, POS Vendor and venue locations.
  • Providing support to users and being the first point of contact for error reporting.
  • Provide onsite and remote support for POS including training, configuration, monitoring and customization
  • Assist in both Root cause and Trend analysis, all while providing venue systems POS support.
  • Perform hardware and software troubleshooting with office employees or any of our associates.
  • Performing tests and evaluations of software and hardware after every incident report or new installations.
  • Provide full Desktop Support Services for customers and company employees. (hardware, software and mobile device)
  • Provide assistance in installation, relocation and re-installation when required.
  • Develop and improve documentation to support problem analysis and resolution.

IT Technician Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in Networking and systems maintenance.
  • Cisco Certified Network Associate accreditation is advantageous.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in database programming and software installation.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Good problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to effectively contribute to multiple projects in an efficient manner
  • Must be able to accommodate a flexible work schedule.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: AED2,000.00 - AED3,000.00 per month
